When applying for a credit card, I am very picky when it comes to which credit cards I would apply for to get a signup bonus. The credit card of choice would have to align with my personal financial goals and circumstances so that it would not affect me negatively or cause any issues with my credit score or finances. This is because everyone knows that credit cards can be very risky especially if they have large annual fees and high interest rates. People get in debt with them all the time when they are not aware of their pitfalls and don't understand the product. So I always read the terms and conditions of each card I research and make sure it's the right match for me.
